One of the most important things you can do when becoming a member of any penny auction site is to select a strategic user name. The majority of people joining a penny auction site will not do this. By selecting a strategic name you will then have an advantage over every other user who did not. Most members will simply select some form of their name. This offers no advantage for the bidder. The reason they do this is they are newbies and don’t realize the advantages that a strategic name would provide them. So once they sign up, they are stuck with that user name. But not you. If you follow the tips below, you will not fall into this trap. Here are some tips on selecting your user name:
1. First go to Quibids.com to the sign up page. On that page, scroll down to the Username field. Here is where you can test out some ideas you have to see if they are available.
2. When entering your user name you may want to type it in ALL CAPS. I believe this makes your name stand out and is more intimidating.
3. Try to select a name that is strategic. What I mean by this is to select a name that sends the other bidders a message. Some of the most successful bidders have names like IDONTQUIT or IWONTSTOP. You can think of many different ones.
4. A lot of these names are already taken but you can use different variations. You can add a suffix, such as IDONTQUIT1 or IWONTSTOPNOW. Use your imagination but have a purpose in mind. Quibids.com recently changed the name length from 12 characters to 16 characters so there are a load of new names available.
